Joys also known as Aysha Joy Samuel (aysha ʤɔɪ ˈsæmjul *24.05.1997) is a German actress, singer, dancer, stunt artist and circus artist. Alone during her training time she was seen in 45 performances and live acts as well as in 16 theater productions. She is most known for her roles as Alana in “Tribes of Europa” on Netflix, Daisy Petersen in German TV show “Notruf Hafenkante” and the Warner Brothers series “Almost fly”.

Samuel started her career in 2014 when she first went to Theatre School. The year after, she began her studies at „First Take“, an academy for acting in Germany. In July of 2018 she eventually got her degree at „Film Acting School Cologne“.

Aside from her school education, she worked as a trainer herself. Aysha was teaching at the Theater School in Kassel which she earlier attended during her own training time. She lead many different workshops and youth groups on topics such as acting, circus and stunts since she was 17. She herself was part of the circus Rambazotti in Kassel, Germany between 2005 and 2014 where she trained others and was involved in 45 performances and live acts. At the circus she learned to control the unicycle and perform as a fire artist. At the same time she went to dancing school for more than four years in total which qualified her to become part of music dance videos and music video productions in the future. She took several roles as a statistician and was part of the live audiobook event „Die Chroniken von Narnia – Der König von Narnia“. During her whole career she was taking a number of roles in German TV productions such as „Journey of your life“ on KiKa by ZDF or „Professor T“ for ZDF directed by Thomas Jahn. In 2018 she was part of an advertisement for Amnesty International. In 2019 she worked as a film horse trainer for the German hit movie „Ostwind“.

Since 2019 she can be seen in „Tribes of Europa“ on Netflix. Some of her latest productions are SOKO Potsdam from 2021 for German TV, the Warner Brothers series „Almost Fly“, Science Cops from 2022 for German TV as well as “Notruf Hafenkante”. Early 2023 she signed her first record deal with Sony US.
